Sharks1288
Every time I play Oblivion, the game runs fine, everything's fine and dandy, and it works great. No problems really arise from the game until I start playing for hours on end (which I haven't done in a long while.) The problem I seem to always come up against is that, whenever I close the game, the game closes mostly and then it says and error occurred and that the game has to close down. I don't know how much of a problem this is as it seem that the error happens only when I close the game down, but I've had to start playing on a different computer account (same computer, but different user) to actually play the game because it somehow got to the point where it was closing down when I tried starting UP oblivion (If it decided to even get to the bathesda splash screen, which most of the time, it would just flash black and then head to the desk-top.) Anyone else have/had this "problem?" I know it's not a "Normal" thing, but it makes the game do what I wanted it to do anyway, just in a buggy, error type way, which I don't like, I'd like the game to quit normally =P
Tomlong54210
This is normal; however, get OBSE and Fast Exit2 to resolve the crash on exit issue. That will take care of the issue. Edit: You can find instructions for installing OBSE here (toward the bottom): Preparing for Mods. If you are using Steam, you need the Steam DLL; otherwise, copy the two DLLs and the launcher (EXE file) into the Oblivion folder, and then you can delete the folder. Don't worry, I use OBSE, so I got all that already, I don't have Fast Exit2, so I'll have to look for that, thanks though :)
