INTRO:

 

Lost as just a very young baby, Princess Amelia Dragonborn returns to the world of Skyrim after her parents were killed by the dragons when she was just a baby girl. When Princess Amy returns she finds that Skyrim has been turned upside down, and her name has fallen simply to legend. There are world leaders, (the Jarls of the holds) and there is an emperor as well. Princess Amelia is the true royalty of Skyrim and the emperor holds a false position. Nobody of course knows this except for Princess Amelia herself. Princess Amelia holds the last name of Dragonborn because believe it or not, she is a half dragon princess. The dragons were once the allies of Skyrim until they betrayed and murdered the King and Queen of Skyrim, Amy's parents. Amy eventually finds out that there is a secret clan in Skyrim known as the Graybeards. The Graybeards know the true story and still hold true to the beliefs of what it means to be a member of the Dragonborn family. Upon killing her first dragon, Amelia takes on the dragon's soul which makes her known to the Graybeards, who call her then to High Hrothgarr. Princess Amelia must join the clans of Skyrim (Thieves Guild, Companions, Assassin's Guild, Mage's Guild, training from Graybeards) and develop her skills until she is ready to reveal the truth and make herself known again in Skyrim where she will claim her rightful place as the Queen of Skyrim.

 

Another detail to note: The reason the dragons are not in power if they killed the queen and king is because the humans used the elder-scrolls to banish the dragon leader Alduuin into oblivion just as the vanilla Skyrim story suggests. After banishing the dragons it was determined that the royal family had been completely wiped out, so a new government was intended but corruption placed an emperor in power in place of a functioning government. Unfortunately Princess Amy was away for so long that having only recently discovered her royal roots, she was not able to make it back to Skyrim until it has been deeply seated under heavy corruption and even a power struggle between the two factions: Storm Cloaks and Imperials. Amy has a desire to renew the alliance with the dragons but must first cleanse Skyrim of the corruption of the initial dragon betrayal.

 

The story can actually fall quite closely in line with the vanilla story of Skyrim but there are some major and some less major changes to the storyline.

 

This is a high immersion mod. Princess Amelia Dragonborn is a red-haired, 6' 5" tall slender but extremely strong half dragon female princess that has some characteristic of a dragon. She has talons on her fingers and larger than normal bright green eyes like the eyes of a dragon. She also has the ability to breathe fire like a dragon (Fire shout with the use of the full scale dragon fire shout mod, the one that makes the player shoot fire like dragons).

 

Amy is not old enough to rightfully be named as queen yet as she is only 25 and the age requirement is 35, but Amy IS the rightful princess of Skyrim until she comes of age. to be named queen.

 

The details of the mod are not too important apart from holding true to the backstory, and the character. The character MUST be as described to be able to hold to this backstory, however, if the player wishes, they may change the description of Skyrim's rightful princess.

 

I'd like to add some unique clothing attire that throughout Amy being undercover hints at her being the Princess of Skyrim, but does not completely just give it away. A good crown might be in order as well for the princess (the crown of Barenziah mod perhaps?)

Just as a joke: LOL Skyrim 2: Return of the Dragonborn Princess? Maybe? :tongue:

 

There could be alternates of the mod if you don't necessarily want to play as the Princess herself. The main character could be created as male or female with the objective to find the young princess at the time of her return and to assist her as her champion while she makes her way up the ranks within Skyrim, that is just one idea if you want to play as a male or female that is not the princess herself.

 

Still working out the details, but I know NOTHING about creating mods, so any help would be appreciated and I am willing to give all full credit to the creators of the mod. Also hearing interesting ideas to add more detail to the mod as well so let me hear what you think.

Depending on the point of view, this is an overly complex or fairly simple mod. I'd take the latter approach.

First, in the mod description recommend to use Alternate Life start "I came to Skyrim by boat"

Second, make the mod add to player's inventory a new book, "Princess Amelia's Heritage", with the backstory you want to claim.

As for the physical features of the player character, at least put them in your mod description.

And you're all set!
