sak1776
Mairi or Khairi (whatever her name is) and Ohgren are invisible. While the woman isn't a big deal, Ohgren being invisible -- even at the NPC group-up screen -- is incredibly bad. This sucks incredibly and I really need some help with it. Does anyone have any idea about this? Have you seen this bug, please? Thank you very much in advance.
sak1776
Does anyone have ANY clue on this one, please? Not having Ohgren in my group is REALLY cramping my style as I am playing a rogue this round and I don't have ANY tankage. This makes it tougher to get stuff done. Not impossible by any means, but certainly much tougher. Thank you for any constructive ideas here.
grannywils
I'm not sure if I can use spoilers on this forum. But I will try to respond without doing so. I had the same problem and I discovered that if you use a cheat code that allows you to select your party anytime before you have gone to Orzammar, Oghren will not join you and will be invisible from that point on. You will hear his voice in some places but you will not see him. If you have already done that, there is nothing that I know of that will fix it other than starting from an earlier save or starting over.

I HAVE used the Toolset to mod my characters' stats and skills and powers. I have also installed a couple of mods...The "All In Stock" shop, the Arcane Warrior Armor-Weapon Set, the Better Sex Custscenes, and the natural Bodies. Oh, and I also installed the one where you can buy the Ancient Elven boots and hat at the dwart as well as a couple of other armor sets. Is tehre anything in that list that might be interfering with Mairi join me in the fighting right at the start of Awakening, seeing her die at her joining, or having Ohgren join me in clearing Vigil's Keep, and then have him at his joining, and even see him in Team Selection. You can imagine my intense frustration. And Bioware tech support is incredibly useless. Not a single online instant chat or phone line to contact them. All done with email and they SUCK at getting back to you. They send you a survey, and then ignore you. Bastards. Basically, I am BEGGING for help here. If you CAN help, I would be willing to talk via some IM service to try to clear this up. Can some tech person, please lend a hand? Thank you very much. P.S. It's at time like this that I wish we had some means of game-payment (I once offered 10 platinum pieces for the person who could resolve a major issue in Everquest 2, and it worked.), so thank you in advance. DarkeWolf
Hmmm. K, dont answer what I asked you about the toolset, in your other thread. Answer it here, so as to be less confusing.Hrm. I havent heard of natural bodies causing an issue like this, but aside from the toolset, that would be my very first guess. Also, if I can make a recommendation, dont use the toolcrap for editing your character like that. use beguiler http://www.dragonagenexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=205it installs like a program, but once you've got it installed, it operates via your skills menu. You do have to spend a skillpoint to activate the "on" skill, but once you've done that, and actually USED the On skill once on the character you want to cheat, its just a matter of hitting the P key on your keyboard. Now also keep in mind that the effect wont go into effect until you close that window. So say that I used the skill to give me... +3 attributes. It wont actually give me those attributes until I close that skills (p key) window. (yeah... I know, thats not the "skills" window. They use too many names, I can't keep them straight, sorry). I might suggest trying it out on a new imported character. You can re-import your character via this method... Go to documents/bioware/dragon age/characters/character name. You'll see a folder called something like JohnSmith 1. The 1 designates that it's a DAA character. Create a backup of that folder by Copy and Paste (CnP) it to another part of your hard drive, or to an external like another hard drive, usb drive, write it to cd, whatever.Once you've got that done, delete the original JohnSmith 1 (or whatever the character name is) folder from the characters folder.Clear the toolset cache, as I'd instructed in your other thread. Tools/extract/clear toolset cacheDeactivate all mods, and REimport the character. Play till you get to where you can savegame and see if that clears it up. if it does, start reactivating mods ONE BY ONE, to see if the problem returns. I'd start with reactivating natural bodies first, since thats the only one I can think of that might cause this. Good luck, and let me know if it works or not.
