SpellAndShield
slightly, improved but still pretty prominent. Oh well, have to accept it. Thanks to everyone for the suggestions...
DarkeWolf
Ugh, I'm sorry to hear that Stardusk  :sad:About the only other recommendation that I would have, is to make upgrades to your hardware, such as more RAM. But I know that such things can be costly :sad:I wish we could have gotten that better sorted out for you. Actually....what I really wish, is that this game wasn't so harsh on system resources so it would run better

Oh well, it will be a long, logn time before I have the money for a new one. I am only part time employed and possible going back to uni for a 2nd MA next year so...don't know how much time I will have for gaming, besides not having the cash for a new pc/laptop... I guess the good thing is that games don't run away from you (though I sometimes have that feeling).
DarkeWolf
I can most definitely understand the money situation. I'm a full time student, so I dont have any spare cash at all to throw around on an expensive investment like a computer.Tho when the opportunity presents itself... If I may... I definitely wouldnt recommend a laptop as a gaming machine. Their performance compared to a PC is definitely not equal. That, and upgrading them is a chore, and VERY expensive. That and some of their componants like vid cards usually can't be upgraded. Cost factor too... for what you pay for a premium lappy, you could get TWO desktops. You mentioned that you're going back to school. But your profile doesnt say what country you're in. If you're here in the US, and you're taking out student loans.... you CAN check to see if you're qualified for an additional loan for living expenses. If you use some of that cash for a new computer, you can then use it as a tax writeoff as it's a tool for your education. :wink:NOT that I'm trying to push you into getting a new computer. Trust me, like I said, I KNOW what the cash situation can be like. Just thought I'd mention it as advice  LOL Mine dont run away, they just get lost. :sad:Good luck

We'll see about computers...I am kind of living with my folks now to save cash and they are annoyed enough by my gaming habits...if I were ever to get a new computer it would have to be a covert action.... And given my computer idiocy, I would have no idea how to upgrade something anyway.... Thanks though, you seem like a nice guy...
DarkeWolf
Thanks! I try to be. I've of course got my share of jadednes and "rotten", but all around, I try to be  LOL its scary, isnt it? Even in our 30's we still have to "sneak around behind their backs" sometimes. LOL My mom lives all the way on the coast, in NJ, and me in the midlands, KS. And there's still stuff that I do that wouldnt be up front with her about. Not anything terrible of course.I can thuroughly understand tho. The UK. wow, thats going to be a really big move. Have you been there before, or is it going to be a complete shock to the system? Well, if you're in school, and if the time comes, I'm sure that you'll have instructors there that could assist you in choosing what you want, and what you need

Having a regular schedule though will be I suspect...if that ever happens.
DarkeWolf
Indeed, scheduling is always a shock to the system. Particularly once you've moved to a different time zone. Tho I have to admit that I dont know how much difference there is in the timezone for where you'll be to, from where you are now.Well, at least you have a working familiarity with the laws, and cultural differences. Thats definitely a plus!
