My Gmst Is Not Working.

Hey.

 

 

My Global setting of Time isn't working.

 

I changed it from 30 (default) to 5

and time still passes as if I didn't do anything at all.

 

I've even changed it to 1... but no change.

 

 

I've saved and loaded inside a cell.

And I tried going in and out of cells but I can't get the game to grab my new setting.

 

 

What can I do to make it listen?

Why would it not respond?

 

I don't have any other mods loaded.

Ugh....

 

 

I figured it out.

 

 

I can set most globals with a console command.

The problem is most of my NPCs will have lots of data that my mod efforts won't reflect becuase they are filed in the save game itself, which started as vanilla.

 

 

eh... at least my spreadsheets are mathmatically sound.

The pattern is pretty solid.

 

A good comfort zone for early levels

A decent midgame stretch

and the high level stuff is all about that extra 2 points from this or that.

 

Smooth leveling is not good for players.

They don't feel any accomplishement, because they never get to be on top no matter how hard they try.
