DrRockso79
Hi, Before I post my mod list, I just wanted to mention I found an unresolved thread on this issue from 2010 from a user who, aside from both of us using the Unofficial Patch, shared no similar mods whatsoever so while I don't think they are the problem I will post them if necessary. To the issue: After killing Burke, Moriarty (and it seems Gob and Nova as well) get stuck in place. While I can interact with them, they just stand in one place and never move. I've tried resurrecting and re-killing Burke elsewhere in the Saloon, ResetAI, disable/enable (which says Moriarty picked Travel Package () if that means anything) and I'm really at a loss for what else to try. I am familiar with the GECK, so if I need to go in there to tweak something it won't be a problem and while this isn't a game breaking issue, it got me curious enough to see if I can fix it (and so perhaps if this does happen in a game breaking manner in the future, I'll know how to resolve it). 7thsealord
Hmmm. Thinking on it, this might explain why Moriarty, Nova and Gob don't move around much in my games - after Burke gets what's coming to him, anyhow. Given that they never leave the bar (or, at least, I don't use any mods that would require them to do so). I've never given this any thought. Taiwaneseninja
Yo, I know this thread is super old, but I just encountered the same glitch where Moriarty, Gob, and Nova don't move after killing Burke. I think it's also somehow tied to the fact I had Lucas Simms confront Burke first, then I killed him myself before he could shoot Simms. OP did you ever find a fix? Taiwaneseninja
I found a fix, woo! You have to reset the quest id for Power of Atom. After doing so, go to the bomb and select the deactivate option again. It'll re-show the message about Burke being killed, then the message of disarming the bomb, but after that, the npcs in the bar should be moving around again. Other than that, you've gotta talk to Sheriff Simms twice to get back through his dialogue about succeeding the quest, but I'm pretty sure that's the only side effect.
