thedeadkity
I was looking around for a good update to the vanilla houses in the game but they all place forges in the basement, 1000's of mannequins and display cases, 5 different dinner tables, beds and kitchens and they mostly all make the house bigger. I would really like someone to make a mod which really makes the houses feel like they belong in the city they are in. Proudspire manor, for example should feel posh and for noble people. The kitchens and other stuff should be out of the way of the owner and left to the servants. As I mentioned there should only be one dinner table (not two like the vanilla), one kitchen and only enough beds for the people who actually live in the house. Again, in Proudspire manor (vanilla) there is a kitchen next to the middle floor dinning room and another dinning room upstairs, outside the bedroom. I would like maybe a study, a map room or a child's bedroom upstairs next to the master bedroom and it would be even better if it was customisable. An expanded dinning room with a bar would be nice, but the kitchen would have to be moved downstairs. A few servants could be optional extras and could 'sell' you stuff to eat and drink. Basically depending on the type of city the house is in and the size of it, different themes should be added. The Honeyside or Breezehome shouldn't be as grand as Hjerim or Proudspire Manor.
