Result of SUCCESSFUL stealing attempt WITHOUT (community-developed) fix is: 1) If plot/named item, receive item. 2) If coin, receive coin. 3) If other (random) item, receive success message but nothing appears in inventory. The fix I use can be found here on Nexus in the DA Files section. It's called "Steal_Dog_CD", 'cuz it fixes the similar problem with the Dog-Fetch script, and reduces the Cool-Down between stealing attempts.
