Meneldur
HiI´ve seen many armor sets for Arcane warrior-tanks, but none of them really looks like of elven production, they all loke like a re-coloured effort armor or templar armor. Weren´t the Arcane warriors whiped out with Arlathan? So shouldn´t they all be of elven made? Maybe someone could mix up something like an apprentice coal( the one you get in the mage origin quest)but made of metal and the face covered like with dwarfen heavy helmet? Wouldn´t that look cool? Btw: Could someone make spellweaver like a real staff, so that you don´t have to sheath it everytime you cas a spell?THX for answers :D
raistlin167
I completely agree with you. Have you guys ever put a massive armor on elf pc? It looks ridiciolus as hell. As for my idea for arcane warrior set I think it should be similar to ancient elven set with that badass helm not something dwarven or human made :P For the love of god stop making more leliana faces make some elven armor.... Meneldur
As Helmet you could use the Arcane Horror Helmet in Silverite, or you just take the ancient elven helmet, but I like the Arcane horror helmet idea. And the Armor should be Silverite, when you get the Arcane Warrior specialisation, you "see an elf in glittering silver armor" or something like that
DirtyRick
The Ivory Tower mod is one of (if not THE) best arcane warrior sets I've come across so far but yeah... even that is a bit on the bulky side.

Meneldur
isn´t the ivory zower also a massive set? I think massive armors look ridiculous an mages.(and especially elves)
luddemann
I think Varathorn's Armor is the best option. It is the normal scale armor, but it is silverite. Couldnt find pics, but here's the mesh anyway:http://dragonage.wikia.com/wiki/Scale_Armor_Set
Meneldur
I think the elven armor in Silverite would be better
DarkSpiral
I'll add my two bits, for what its worth. I'd love to try out an Arcane Warrior that didn't concentrate on trying to tank in massive armor. Considering the origin of the technique (that is, it is an ancient elven practice) the idea of massive-armored Arcane Warriors always struck me as being...off. If anyone got it in their head to make Medium armor with stats clearly intended for Arcane Warriors (spellpower and mana regen spring to mind), I'd be in the line to download their stuff in two shakes. If they used elven meshes, well that would just be gravy, now wouldn't it? :) I'll have to check out the Ivory Tower. Thanks for mention it, DirtyRick. Thanks for mention it, DirtyRick. i see what you mean here. i always thought of aw's as being a mage who when can get in an out as fast as possible while dishing out powerful spells and decimating the enemys with a sword. the idea of them being a tank is kinda stupid. for medium armors why not try armor of the chaotic blue. it has both good mage stats and non mage stats. no sword sadly but other than that it would be perfect.
