DarkeWolf
heres where that mod for level 50 is- http://www.dragonagenexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=930I havent tried it out, myself. I mean, level 23+ I'm kicking my way thru hordes without much of a sweat. Tho, I'll profess I'd kinda like to see what kind of a slap I could throw on the arch-demon at lvl 50 *wicked grin* no friendly fire, so you can play some of the more challenging difficulty levels, without getting fried by your own mages- http://social.bioware.com/project/1367/ if you're really into a challenge... try this one out. the "trial" has 4 dragons that you have to fight ALL AT ONCE! http://www.dragonagenexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=469 Yeah. I never got into WoW, but I had some of the free to play MMO's that got me hooked. Guild Wars was horrible... it had dungeons in it that were incredibly hard, but once you entered, you couldnt LEAVE until you reached the end. And those damned things would take 6-8 hours to get through!!

I am heartily sick of having to set it at easy in certain areas so my Mage doesn't hobble my team.An even bigger wooty on Guild Wars. I lost count of the hours I played that game.UW FTW!!!!My Ranger awaits one forgotten item from the forge for her Complete FOW gear set. Der on me. but...I shant go onononononand on about GW, to bad Northrend wrecked and dumbified the game so.Thanks for the linkies  Edit: When the lvl 50 mod says for Awakenings that means it works for both?Viel danke! DarkeWolf
Yeah, no friendly fire is a godsend. especially after I turned one of my mages into an AW using dual wield daggers as second weapons. Damned morrigan would get attacked, autoswitch to the daggers for fighting whoever was attacking her, then throw off a fireball right in the middle of us!!KABOOM! WTF!?!? Its been several years since I played GW. Northrend? The makers got bought out? THAT SUCKS!!! That must have happened after I stopped playing. :sad:I miss my DERVISH!!! And my Warrior Runner!! Gawd what I wouldnt give for a new game that had the dervish! (except for the lamo female dance!) Well, Awakenings itself is where the mod originates, as DAA is what originally broke the mid-20's cap. Cap in DAA is like, late 50's. No problem
en4cer
What mod ? is there another one beside Nightmare plus that increases difficulty of the game and makes the enemies tougher ???
en4cer
Errr never mind posted the question without checking all the pages, my bad
Gamegurl
WOW!!The addition of no friendly fire made this last run SO much more fun!!!The fights actually brought my adrenaline level up. hehe No one bought out GW , Northrend was the last release of an update. I found it boring beyond words and the faction grinds were ridiculous. You needed faction to even speak to certain vendors. I wonder what category I should put a new thread in discussing mods and strategies??I want to pump up my warriors (main toon) armor but the Stamina deficit is a real drag.Maybe I should put it in general discussion spoilers allowed??cheers and Happy freaking fridayYAR!
DarkeWolf
@ En4cer- lol it happens @GG- Glad to see that you're enjoying that one  General is a good place for it. I'll go ahead and recommend a mod called The Winter Forge- http://www.dragonagenexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=122Lets you create your own custom gear IN GAME, so that you dont have to use the toolset. Does have a few disadvantages like a little bit of a learning curve, that you have to go track down these darned spell formula's from all over hell and back, and that it requires three skill points. I'd REALLY recommend metagame items for this http://www.dragonagenexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=13 as you can use the Alternate Lothering Portal to get the stuff that's in lothering (if you're not on a new character.)and the 3 point cheat code from the console http://dragonage.wikia.com/wiki/Console Forge is awesome once you get the hang of it. I've got (most of) my fighters running around in suits of medium scale mail that I've modded to better protection than massive plate, with a little under half the fatigue. Then I just throw in combat fatigue regen, and some fat stamina bonuses and my guys can last thru all but the biggest fights. (After I neuter Alister's penchant for throwing all his huge stamina drain abilities, of course). Also for pure combat (doesnt help at all against magic!) armor isnt as important as defense. Armor drops the amount of damage you take. Defense... no damage if you dodge or parry *wolf grin* Plus, with a decent defense you get one hell of a cool looking fight against arle howe. Swing swing, parry parry dodge. Not using any of my special attacks, Its like sitting here watching a well choreographed movie scene! (Solo fighting him) Now, this next piece of advice might seem backwards, but there's a method to the madness. Consider your amor as accessories, and your rings, necklace, and belt as your primaries. Throw the main buffs into those, so that you can change out your armor whenever you feel like it (or in some cases it gets temporarily taken from you). Gamegurl
The armor creator looks really cool but slightly mind bending. I'm also wondering where all the enchanting materials will be found, when reading the authors page I saw stuff listed that I have never come across in the game.I have yet to install the mod but wondered does it come with a Vendor that I can buy those items at and metal??Awesome links Amigo, thanks for all your help and I look forward to chatting you more.Hope you have a great weekendGG:cool:
