Need Help,

I downloaded someones saved game, so I needed much more mods then I had atm. I found'em all except DarkBlades and my camp merchant. Help please!

you dont have to have the exact same mods that they do, unless its a mod like equal love or a marry alistair/anora mod, where you want to have such and such relationship with whichever character.

 

Its giving you a list of mods that you dont have. it asks you if you want to force load the game. click yes, or tell it that you do. it will ask you if you're sure that you want to do this, click yes, or agree, again.

 

then once you've got the savegame loaded, click on the gear icon, or tap the [esc] key on your keyboard, and create a new saved game, name it whatever you want, and close the game. restart the game, load up your new, clean save, and it's all good :smile:

 

there's tons of camp merchant mods around. trying to track that one particular one down could be problematic. But unless that merchant has an item in it's inventory that is Necessary for the reason why you're playing the savegame, I wouldnt worry about. Otherwise you may have to ask for a link from the person that you got the savegame from. OR ask the person to put that/those items into his/her inventory and resave the game for you. I couldnt find that blackblade mod either, if it's a sword or dagger.

If the mods are no longer on the nexus site, you can just force load the save without them. They SHOULDN'T break anything, but they may.
