Wolf Shop MOD (after wiping out the elves)

Hello,

I sent this out to the person who created the mod for the werewolf shop in DRAGON AGE; ORIGINS

When I try to unzip the file it tells me to use DA's loader but during the process Vista says it cannot find DA updater.

Any advice?

Thanks.

Best,

Shannon

P.S. The link for the mod is here:

Hey there,

Thanks for creating the Wolf Shop.

I tried downloading it but it said it couldn't find the DA updater. Not sure why.

I have a Norton AV which could be blocking it and I have Windows Vista 32.

Here are my specs if you care to help.

Thanks.

Best,

Shannon

Hrm. I dont think that this is so much an issue with the mod, as it is your dragon age installation, or file structure.

daupdater.exe should be located in the bin_ship folder of C:/program files/dragon age/bin_ship. Or C:/program files/bioware/dragon age/bin_ship

manually check to see if it's there, by running thru to that location in windows explorer. click on computer, then your c drive, then program files, etc.

If it's not there... something is wrong. Its either been moved, or deleted.

If it is there, then something in your installation is wrong, and its not pointing to the correct location.

You could also try right clicking on the daupdater.exe file and choosing "run as administrator" and see if that helps.

I'd recommend trying to install the mod using damodmanager- http://www.dragonagenexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=277

The reason that I recommend this instead, is because it also allows you to uninstall mods, but it also lets you configure the settings for it. IE- manually point to the location of your daupdater.exe file.
