Wyre Bash / OBMM help please

Need help. I recentley capped the mod limit and decided i would get Wyre Bash to bash all my UL compatibility patches. After i downloaded it asked " Disable lock times " and i accidentley pushed no. After that i turned off, uninstalled, then reinstalled. Checked OBMM and my load order was in tact, after reinstalling Wyre Bash ( didnt ask that time but i turned it off manually ) the load order is completley alphabetical in Wyre Bash but in OBMM its still the way i left it. Witch load order will the game use OBMM or Wyre.

 

Also...(before wyre bash) When i started reaching my mod limit my game would crash on startup. At first i didnt know what was going on so i tried disabling some mods through OBMM, at first it started working after i disabled a mod or 2 and i went on playing. After getting a few more mods ( didnt know i had 2 many ) and activating them the game started crashing on startup. I tried disabling all of the new mods, but it still crashed. Disabled about 2 extra mods and it worked. Thinking that I had 1 mod that was screwing me over i activated each file 1 by 1 ( activated a file... waited... started oblivion to check for a crash ) I ended up activating all my files again with no crashes ( i found out later i had about 258 mods going at 1 time, not counting textures and other sound / mesh replacers ) and my game started and played with no crashes for a whole day.. even when i turned it off and came back for a hour it worked. But for some reason when i restart my computer oblivion crashes on start up again and i had to repeat the process. Exept this time ( after wyre ) my game wont seem to start no matter what i do.

You need to sort your LO by load order in Wrye Bash. Click on the appropriate tab. You do not understand what is going on...one problem at a time. You do not understand how to use Wrye Bash.

I just fixed it some how by uninstalling wyrebash deactivating all my mods ( with the reg oblivion launcher, .. this didnt work when i disabled with OBMM ) then reactivating all of them exept for around 12 to stay away from load limit. I downloaded Wyre Bash fine that wasnt the problom i used auto installer. The main thing im looking out for is if i restart my computer will oblivion start crashing on load up again ( been doing that for the last 2 days ) or will it be fine with less then maximum mods. Another thing it would be nice to know is how exactley do i " combine mods " or " bash " or however u say it so i wont take up all my mod list.

thats the only reason i got Wyre Bash in the first place, planing on just combining all my compatibility patches for UL's witch will free up like 20 mod spaces. ( If u can do that? ). Also wanna combine lots of building add ons if that will work. My game is bugging out on launch sometimes but it NEVER crashes or does anything weird at all in game. I do have the crash preventer tho.

 

If any one can tell me how to get my mods to work without crashing on startup after restarts.. Witch happens even without Wyre Bash installed. ( And do i need to set up my whole load order in Wyre Bash all over again if i already have it in OBMM? )

K more weird things... re-activated my mods works again... works again... download a new mod in OMOD format ( assassins creed 2 armor revised ) started it up and a crash on start up. Well oviousley the mod wont work for me disable mod... start up oblivion Crash! again... damn ... time to restart the process

Crashing on load is usually do to missing masters. It sounds like you are dealing with a large mess that you do not really know how to manage. Do you even know that your load order is okay?

 

 

Edit: I do not think you have fixed anything. You do not know what the problem is, and neither do I. A number of things can cause loading to fail. If it is failing randomly, you should check your load order. Please read the linked information.

I use BOSS

I know it sounds like a load order but let me start out by saying. I just started oblivion squeky clean and fine nothing happened no crashes... then i loaded Visual Enchantments ( newer version ) and crash on start up. Then i disable Visual Enchantments in OBMM, then i uninstall it, everything should be fine, but NO it still crashes on start up with the exact same load order and mods it ran perfectley litralley 5 minutes ago? This has been a ring around with any mod in my load order its not that there causing it to crash thats why i want to know whats going on. This has happened 5 times ive fixed it every time by dissabling all my mods in Original Oblivion launcher disabling 3-4 random mods then reactivating them all and starting up oblivion (after i start it up with no mods running, because it doesnt work if i dont launch it inbatween, WEIRD? ya exactley why im posting) Sometimes this wont work either so ill disable .. as a example 6 more small mods repeate the process and it works... sweet there we go... then i try to activate my mods again 1 by 1 i activate and launch looking for a crash but i end up activating all 10 with no crashes and can play.. then i stretch it and activate another 2 mods 1 by 1 and still working then i keep going usally between 2-4 mods activated after that it crashes on startup.. and EVEN IF i deactivate the mod i just activated that causes a crash it still crashes and i have to do all this over again. Sometimes i even get another 10 mods going but again a random number of mods and a random type of mod later it crashes on start up and i have to do it all over again.

 

This ISNT a single mod conflicting and NONE of these mods im activating need a master i dont have these mods im testing this weirdness with are things like Dreadweave Complete, Tyreal Armor, C and C blackwood, Conted Prisoner, Nascstose isles, Castle of Night. And to make things even WEIRDER i have gotten every single one of those mods to work.. ive even goten all of those mods to work TOGETHER... but if i add another ( on a random amount not the mod cap ) it will crash and keep crashing even after removing that mod and i have to do my usual anoying fix. And most of these mods have caused crashes on activating.

 

Ive never head of any one having these probs but ill put a few things i use if this has ever happened before... FCOM, Script Optimizer, Deadly Reflex, Adrenalen fuled Combat, Supreme Magicka, Midas Magick... those are some of the biggys. If any one has any ideas whats going on ill try whatever fix u have in mind, and im making a new game any way because i was planning on getting Shivering Isles so dont worry about game breaking saves.

The script optimizer is buggy. Do not use it. Please post your LO with Wrye Bash. You should spend hours testing the FCOM setup before adding to it. Right-click on the File tab in Wrye Bash and choose "list mods."

Ok reinstalled wyre bash Uninstalled script optimizer i have tested FCOM many hours. This load order is very big sorry about that. I also have Stutter reducer but ive configured it to work with Streamline. The UL patch says im missing fules snails racing master but it didnt work with it either ill add it back in because my patches are in one OMOD that is not the reason for the crashing tho.. i just took that out like 1 min ago. Same thing goes for Black wood company all this was taken out 1 minut ago as im still trying to do my usual fix
