Newbie

I am new here, and there is much for me to learn. Most of the members here seem to be of high caliber! Some Very fine mods here. I just became a 'premium' member and was wondering where I could find help on downloading some mods. I can't seem to get past the 'files are loading, please be patient' thing. I have a download manager and DAP. What am I missing?

Alright well instead of trying to explain the whole thing because it is a pretty lengthy process I'm just going to give you a link for a good guide located on the Fallout 3 nexus that tells you how to install mods for Fallout 3. The process will be similar for oblivion but you would need to use the Oblivion Mod Manager instead of the Fallout Mod Manager. Thanks, but that's not the problem. I have been installing mods for a while now, with relatively good results. The problem is that I can't download any mods! I am a premium member, but cannot get anything to work even on the premium servers! ??????

Hmm that is strange unfortunately I'm not a premium member so I can't really test it out. The only thing I can think of is to make sure your downloading off of either the Denver, USA, Premium Members Only or the Kent, UK, Premium Members Only servers depending of course upon where you live. I'm pretty sure that these are the only servers that support accelerator software so if you are using DAP on a server other than a Premium Members Only that could be causing a problem. Other than that don't really know what to tell you sorry, if nobody else comes along soon that can answer your question then I would just pm an admin.

Problem resolved! Turns out I needed to re-set some of my add-ins, extensions, and plug-ins. Never happened before with Windows 7, but it may be Firefox 3.6.3. Regardless, it all works now! Thanks for the attempt!
