danscott84
Is there a way to edit animations in the toolset for cutscenes? Specifically, can you take an existing longer animation and just take a part of it to make a completely new animation in the toolset? Or is another program needed to make the changes? Nevermind, figured it out.
DarkeWolf
interested in knowing how it turned out. Can the toolset actually do it? Or does it need to be edited on the mesh, in a 3d prog?
danscott84
When I started making cutscenes I made two that are junk scenes that I play with animations to see what they do. One was an Iona scene and another with Gheyna. What I was trying to do was get just a part of the Morrigan romance scene for my Kiss Bella mod. I went back to playing with the junk scenes, and by chance tried to right click on the animation. In that menu is the option to split the scene. I put split markers on the part I wanted, copied the part I split, then while leaving that scene open pasted it to the Bella Scene, and it worked. DarkeWolf
Good post, thanks Dan!Ok, I just learned that you can not only split a scene, but also that the anims can essentially be run frame by frame in cutscenes. So that would mean that theoretically, a person could use part of a scene (several frames) of an anim that they wanted, and then delete the frames of the ones in the animation, that they didnt want? danscott84
I'm not sure about the deleting part, but using copy/paste you could achieve that.
