Seeing as i'm new

Well guys i'm Draken15 and as you know I am brand new to the nexus, I just need a small hand with something, I've been dowloading mods for dragon age and for some reason my daupdater doesn't always be able to select a file, this usually occurs with weapons and armor mods becasue you have to download it to your desktop (or other location) and then select it with daupdater, and some files just can't be downloaded it seems like, can anyone help me? I'm feeling like a really retarded noobn right now :D
