Missile Launcher problem

For some reason when I change the damage for the Missile Launcher, it has zero effect even though I re-equip the weapon and the damage updates in the inventory screen. Any help is appreciated.

 

Edit: Solved the problem. Instead of editing the Missile Launcher under Weapons, I had to edit MissileExplosion under Special Effects > Explosion.
