You are supposed to start one thread, and then wait for an answer. I have done a fair bit of reskinning, but I have never gone through the process of flattening the mesh, assigning quadrangles, and making a new texture from scratch. You might want to provide the forum with some more information. Do you use Gimp or Photoshop? Are you modifying an existing texture or making an entirely new one? What is this object you made? People love screenshots. If you uploaded one, it might get someone interested in your project. What stage of the project are you at?
