Fad3away
Well I really can't find mods that I'm looking for, I'm kinda specific about it and hell I just really wanna make it for myself, but I don't have much time to even play nonetheless learn to make mods. I wanted to just make a nice home for my archer/thief character. I've looked around a lot and can't find exactly what I'm looking for, so I just wanna make it. How long does it take till I can start creating what i have in mind? I don't want to be too detailed, just a medium sized hideout underground with a cave/dungeon theme going on (torches lighting up the rooms), with a armory, small training area, and a bedroom area. I wanna make like maybe four rooms.
GreatLucifer
Well, to be able to use the CS properly, I'd say a day at most. But if one simple house is all you're going for, you could probably make that in a weekend or so.. (without prior practice that is)You could always try to request this in the request-part of the forum. If a simple cave is all you're going for, it'd probably be easiest to edit an existing one, especially if you haven't done this kind of thing before. Just make sure all containers don't respawn, and maybe set some ownerships... For a better estimate you better post more details
Fad3away
Well the closest thing i found to what I was looking for was this mod called Assassin's Hideout (which they spelled wrong), but I kinda wanted it be a bigger training room, didn't like the zombie head/skulls, room was a little too small, didn't like the bed or bedroom. I really just want to do my own thing, no one else can really see what I have in mind you know. Thanks for the reply. I started to do some tutorials but its kinda frustrating when what they say doesn't match up with what I do. I'll just keep at it I suppose and see where it goes. GreatLucifer
I see your point, had the same problem in the beginning... I have somewhat of an odd taste :P You know what, just PM me with any questions or things you can't work out, though there is a limit to my skills as well :P

Pronam
Cut it to the simplest things and when you're able to do, move on to more difficult things. At first everything seems easy until you end up in cs. Anyone that want to be able to create houses from scratch should have at least read the primer and could move to house tutorial. You got lucky to have a voluntarily pm invitation by GreatLucifer, don't hesitate to send one to him. If you never ask, you'll never learn. Yeah I've done those two tuts, but I really wanna do my own interior instead of having to copy others, because I really think its going to be annoying to keep searching for just the right one. Pronam
Almost every house model is a fixed one and doesn't allow any customization but the cluttering The ease of existing cells/houses is that they are linked so easy to relate if you aren't well known with the usage of bethesda their names. If you want to customize on size you'd have to focus things to the basement or create castles or types of dungeons instead. Or learn to model. Yeah, I might want to model later, but now I have no time for that. So I'll just stick with the regular stuff. Alright thanks.
