Eye Problems

I'm not sure what it is that I did to cause this. The eyes were working fine until I redid the order of my DMC Stylish/Mayu's Animation Overhaul/Amazing Jump/Natural Walk mods. This problem only seems to be affecting my player character, who is an Imperial, as well as every other Imperial. Since my damnable game doesn't want to let me take screenshots, I drew a picture of the problem:

I've tried removing all of that Ren's Beauty Pack/Beautiful People/Elaborate Eyes stuff, but none of it is working. Anyone know what could be the problem?

When you removed them, did you uninstall them or just deactivate them? Please post your load order. Do you use the Oblivion Mod Manager? If so, try using the Data File Browser to see what OMOD OBMM thinks owns the eye meshes in the data folder. That should tell you which mod you have overlooked.

My character had eyes from a mod, but the default eyes are affected as well. I had merely deactivated the suspect mods, and also opened up the game's BSAs and extracted the meshes and textures for the eyes, which didn't work. OBMM doesn't list any of them, either.

If you use OBSE, you can set Darker Night in EW's INI instead of using this plugin: EnhancedWeather - Darker Nights, 50.esp

 

You need to uninstall those mods. Do not just deactivate them. A mesh problem will not be resolved by deactivation. The problem sounds like you still have the Elaborate Eyes meshes installed. Uninstall all of your cosmetic mods.

 

Load Ordering - http://sites.google.com/site/oblivionpoinfo/finishinstall/loadorder <-- Use BOSS to fix your LO, and use the template on this page to place the plugins it does not recognize in more appropriate locations.

 

Ren's mod uses the Vanilla eye mesh, so you can reinstall her mod after making sure to uninstall the other cosmetic mods (affecting the vanilla races.)

 

That plugin of Ren's conflicts with Robert's mod. I have written some instructions for patching Ren's plugin for use with his mod. Remove Robert's plugin afterward.
