MightyLink
I don't know what happened, I went to install a mod "LoD Replacement" then suddenly most of my other addons disappeared, I went into the data folder and all the esp's are now gone, wtf... I been downloading addons for years and this never happened, and I also haven't made a backup recently cause I never expect oblivion mod manager to just DELETE MY ADDONS.... So now I need help, I notice when you load a save file it detects missing addons before it loads so is there anything I can get a list of them from my save file? is there any tool to do this so I know what addons to download again, I would really hate to start over again, especially addons I can't remember that changed my stats and such, I can't continue playing without them. Tomlong54210
Do you have a restore point? You should use that. I have not heard of OBMM doing anything quite this drastic, but it does have a few interesting bugs, nothing on this scale though. Are you using Windows XP? You can definitely get a list of the mods you were using from your save file though. The most informative way to do that would be to setup Wrye Bash. It will give you version numbers and whatnot. Wrye Bash - http://sites.google.com/site/oblivionpoinfo/prep/wrye-bash <-- These are my instructions, so you do not have to worry over reading a book. If you go this route, after launching it, go to the Saves tab, highlight your most recent save file, and you will see the mods it used in a frame near the bottom-right of the window. Edit: I thought there was an alternative. If you do not want to install Wrye Bash, grab the Oblivion Save Game Manager (v2) - http://planetelderscrolls.gamespy.com/View.php?id=28&view=OblivionUtilities.Detail

I also checked my recycle bin, they are not in there either, but ironically all my screenshots xfire deleted are there. I will try oblivion save manager, ive had oblivion since almost the release and never seen this happen before, and I have not done anything myself, theres no way I accidently did this in any way. Tomlong54210
I do not think you did. It was an unfortunate random occurrence. I have heard of two or three similar occurrences but not with OBMM.
MightyLink
Well I finally got what I needed, Wrybash didn't work, I followed your instructions but it wouldn't launch, and I knew I had Python installed correctly cause it showed the icon over the file, but still nothing. The save manager had a lot of bugs it was very fustration, lots of expectation error codes but I finally managed to work around it and open up the mod list, copied it all to notepad and now im reinstalling, thanks for the help. Still don't know what caused all this, even half my DLC was gone, been playing oblivion since almost its launched and never seen this happen... well I guess now I have which encourages me to keep backups!!! [EDIT] Ok I found out what caused it cause it happend again right after I reinstalled. In Windows 7 64-bit when you use the construction set before running it as admin, then after running it as admin, it moves all the mods it lists to the apps/roaming folder. Very stupid bug, so I warn people to make sure you run that program as administrator before you first use it. How I reproduced the bug. I always like to make my own custom classes in the construction set rather then in game because I can make my own discriptions and pictures. But when I went to save it wouldn't save so I quit it and set it to run as admin in its properties. Then when I ran it again it moved most of my esp's to that hidden folder, idk why it does this.
