Qns on Incompatibility

I've poked around in Oblivion and FO3 modding but not with DAO so its kinda new for me.

 

I wanted to know if there were incompatibilities for 2 particular pairs of mods. First pair would be the learnt shapeshifting which allows you to gain new forms after a certain amount of kills achieved: http://www.dragonagenexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=91

 

The other allows you to learn 4 forms, Pride demon, revenant, ogre and that archdemon dragon: http://www.dragonagenexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=229

Now the question is, are they compatible? I used my common sense and deduced that since they add new lines for the spell/skill page they should work together. But I don't know if thats really true in game. So I wish to be enlightened by anyone with modding experience or tried this before.

 

 

 

 

The other pair is about the sensual cutscenes. I want to ask whether better sex cutscenes would work with more options in the pearl.

dunno what particular files the shapeshifter mods use, so I'm afraid taht I'm not much help to you there. Sorry about that :sad:

 

As for the cutscene mods.... as long as they dont use the same scenes, then yeah, they can play together just fine.

I gotta use examples here, too tired and brain not working well enough to give an accurate description.

 

Say that you are using Luchaire's better sex scene mod, and using her kiss scene as well. Which allows you to go straight to the sex scene. IF you decided to use one of the new kiss mods that have come out, and use a kiss scene for leliana, the two will not work together, as they both use the same cutscene.

Now HOWEVER, if the kiss includes a dialog option to go straight to sex, then yes, Luchaire's mod will still run the sex scene.

 

Another example- Luchaire's better sex scene WILL play with DanScott's morrigan sex ritual, because they alter two completely different scenes. And because the Pearl DOESNT use any of the "camp sex" cutscenes, there shouldnt be any problems there, unless they alter the party member's dialog options.

 

I hope you understand what I mean. Again, I'm sorry... I'm about 5 hours past my bedtime :wink:

K, sorry about that, I was pretty tired when I posted earlier.

 

I havent tried those shapeshifting mods, so I dont know if they work together or not. I'd recommend looking thru the comments on the mod's pages on danexus to see if any other users have had issues with them.

 

I'd say that the only time you're gonna have an incompatibility is if two or more of them try to alter the same vanilla game function. LIke if mod A and mod B both try to alter the casting and/or cooling time of shapeshift spells that are already in the game (vanilla spells).
