VoxTheHero
So I've noticed this is a common problem here, but I would like to show my mod list and ask what I've done wrong for this to fail. I use Vista, and the Game of the Year Edition of Oblivion (Also want to know how to get Shivering Isles to work...I've downloaded patches and it never seems to work) Here is the BOSS list ----------------------------------------------------------- Better Oblivion Sorting Software Load Order Utility © Random007 & the BOSS development team, 2009-2010 Some rights reserved. XxShinra
Dude I had the same problem hey.... If you download Shivering isles directly from disk 2 it should work :) as for the eyes... join the club, peace!!! bben46
You never did describe your eye problem. After saying you had one you got sidetracked on SI. Most eye problems are related to having too many 'beauty' type mods installed. Each one wants to control how the eyes look and you get something strange. black eyes, no eyes, googly eyes, strange color etc. Look for mods such as 'beautiful people' and any custom race mod. disable all of them and see if you get the vanilla eyes back. Then reinstall the mods one at a time until you find the one that is causing the problem. Beautiful People was one of the early mods that changed eyes, and many of the later mods used a different technique causing a conflict resulting in strange eyes. Some race mods change the eyes while others do not. If you have for some reason installed the Oblivion Patch before installing SI. The SI disk may not work properly. Would you believe that Beth made the SI patch incompatible with the Oblivion patch with the same version number? You will need to remove the game completely - the uninstall on the disk doesn't work for this. Instead use this procedure. Here is a link to my complete uninstall/reinstall procedure located in the articles section of the Nexushttp://www.tesnexus.com/articles/article.php?id=240 I have also seen someone who had a pirate version that claimed to be GOTY that had the wrong patch. The only solution I can offer for that is to buy a legal copy so we can help you.

And this only started happening AFTER I installed the Energy - Beautiful Elves mod. My list of mods: Oblivion.esmDLCShiveringIsles.espUnofficial Shivering Isles Patch.espScarlet Monastary.espKnights.espBeautiful PeopleV22 - MaleReplacerV4.espKT-CustomRaceFix.espRagnell&Alondite.esphoodofthehiddenfix.espHVH_Life Detect.espTycho's Shield on Back.espEnergy - Beautiful Elves.esp It seems everything but that one seems to work without consequence. I don't know how to fix the lack of eye problem =\
bben46
Beautiful people uses one way to do eyes, and the beautiful elves probably have a different and incompatible way of doing eyes.
VoxTheHero
Guess I won't use said mod then. BUt thank you for the reinstall thread. I'm relieved to see people's faces aren't messed up anymore.
Tomlong54210
Energy Beautiful Elves probably uses Ren's eyes or something related. Those eyes require the vanilla eye mesh, and BP uses the Elaborate Eyes mesh. You cannot use both because the EE mesh overwrites the vanilla eyes.
