Hey?? A few of you mentioned storage, is there a mod for that and if so could you post the linkie please?

I fear to many mods in the game because of some horror stories I have read about conflicts but I'd like to have storage or expand my inventory more than another pricey backpack will do.

You should give DA Mod Manager a try it's great, it checks for conflicts and tells you what files will conflict it's then up to you what files have to go. I read the manual last week and started using it to it's full potential not just the .dazip part and I'm really pleased with it.

You should give DA Mod Manager a try it's great, it checks for conflicts and tells you what files will conflict it's then up to you what files have to go. I read the manual last week and started using it to it's full potential not just the .dazip part and I'm really pleased with it.

Is that the same file as DA Modder? If so I have that one already and I love it. It keeps a list of the mods installed including DLC and makes installing the ones I have used so far a snap. Excluding the evil PC Gamer "tales of Orzammer" rotfl

From all that I read if you went OOO WEE I want that one, don't bother mates. It requires a complete repackaging and pheh, just not worth the hassle to me.

da modder and da modmanager are two completely seperate entities. modmanager has a few more options and can install .override files, while modder can't. also lets you browse your screenshots right there from the program. I use da mutator for 125 inventory items, but the toolset hack (which I dunno how to do?) can get you 9999 items in inventory (gawd I dont see how anybody could sort thru that much gear!!)

Aw come on, I don't believe it :laugh: I did this last night it was easy, but I only upped mine to 200 as I'm still not through the caverns doing the Urn quest and my pack's full already (note to self to disable all the whizzy armour mods I'm not using) I don't think I'd want to run around with that much stuff to sort through either, I'm just sick of leaving stuff behind and going back for it. I know I don't have to, but it's the money I could get for selling it, I do have this 'minor' obsession with accumulating wealth :laugh: :laugh:

Check check and double check.

I got a storage chest, and also read the description of Tolby just now. According to the modders notes it clashes with any other added NPC/vendor camp mods. Is that a problem for you? I can't off the top of my head recall what chest I put in camp but if Tolby doesn't conflict with Winterforge that might give me more room.

SO many mods so little time.

I really love the Beyond Ferelden chest, I keep it at my camp not for the mods you can download that use it, but for the simple fact it is a fast and easy storage drop. I usually toss all gifts in there until I get the appropriate companions or want to pass them out, as well as things I get that no one can use yet, like high level armor or weapons, and naturally I always store the wedding ring I get as a city elf in there since I'm too much of a softie to toss it! The chest keeps my inventory cleaned out and neat and is right there in camp so therefore it's handy unlike Warden's Keep chest.

:laugh: what is they say about great minds, that is exactly what I use it for, it is a lot easier than keep going to Wardens Peak after every trip, especially with all the booze you pick up for Ogren who I always leave until last. I thought it odd they didn't put a storage chest in the camp I think the chest was the first mod I downloaded.

 

I like going to Wardens Peak, up on the battlements it always looks so quiet and peaceful up there with a few snowflakes drifting down, it's a shame you can't sit down and just soak it all up in between battles, not just to chuck things in the chest.
