TheOriginalEvilD Posted May 15, 2010 Share Posted May 15, 2010 Simple question...and for those who have played Oblivion i guess this applies there as well....which one is more demanding on your system? I've played both on both games and for me it seems as though HDR plays smoother and generally looks better...but i was under the impression that HDR was the higher quality and higher demanding option? For me the biggest difference seems to be in VATS, where if i'm running Bloom i sometimes get a choppy/laggy zoom in and it takes a second to register the % for each target, but with HDR it's usually instant. But the difference in terms of performance is only marginal and I prefer HDR in Fallout 3 as well as Oblivion since I think it looks more realistic and believable.
