Horse Armor Install

Has anyone else had their horse armor patch hang on install? I run a 32-bit system (don't tell anyone!) but after the initial install window that asks for the key, all I get is a non-refreshing box until I End Task out of it. Bethesda said it is because of the firewall, but even with the firewall disabled, it won't install. [That's crrap anyway, I run everything else through the firewall]. I'm on the phone with their tech support again, waiting, but I sense another quick trip down the flow chart is in my future... :excl:

It's more likely to be an antivirus, rather than a firewall .

The problem is with the copy protection when you try to activate the codes.

The protection assumes that you are not only the administrator (actually called administrator rather than acting as an administrator) but that you have the installation files in the administrators folder. For many people this will involve having to load windows in Safe Mode with network connection to be able to access this folder.

 

I had exactly the same problems when activating all the plug ins.

Works as long as you are the administrator
