Shadowfen
I'm only mildly familiar with PYFFI but know that it is a python program. Did it install a version of python on your system (or did you install it) in order to support PYFFI? Which version(s) of python do you have installed? Which version of Wrye Bash do you have? Is it the latest available? If you do not have at least version 275 of Wrye Bash (with the Wrye Python 02 installation), you should upgrade to it. Tomlong54210
Installing PyFFI should not affect Wrye Bash? As Shadowfen pointed out, if you install a later version of Python in order to run PyFFI, you need to install the other updated requirements for Wrye Bash. Installing the Wrye Python 02 package should take care of that. I recommend upgrading to v283. Just extract the archive into the Oblivion folder and let it overwrite everything. Rlburgendy
I had python v 25 and python v26 ( i got v 26 for PYFFI ), i tried launching wyre bash then and it wouldnt work so i thought that i wasnt allowed to have 2 versions of python so i dealeted v 25.. it still did not work, so i went to the wyre bash download page on tesnexus and im getting the python v2 it says it requires there and getting v 284 of wyre bash, should that work? edit also i had v25 self installer before and i dealted that to get v 284 ( still downloading ). I did have a bash patch in wrye will it mess up anythign because its dealted now? Or will it be safe to just remake it again.
Tomlong54210
It does not matter if you have two version of Python installed, but you only need Python 26. I think you should stick with v283 since v284 is only a release candidate (unless it was updated while I was away, for the last 48hrs.)

Still installing the python requirnments on that page, ill post how it works out when i get 283 installed

Since you had only 2.5 python before you got PyFFI, then the version of Wrye Bash that you had required specifically the 2.5 version and would not work with 2.6 (which was what I suspected). Installing 2.6 changed some of the "make this version default" settings for python that caused Wrye Bash to cease working - because it was using the default (which was no longer 2.5). Installing the wrye python 02 will upgrade several extra python packages to work with 2.6 instead of the missing 2.5, and the newer versions of Wrye Bash now require Python 2.6. So, not only will Wrye Bash work again, but PyFFI should still continue to work. <g>
Tomlong54210
Also, unless your last shortcut was pointing to the Launcher PYW file, you should make a new shortcut for Wrye Bash. Create a shortcut by right-clicking on the Launcher .pyw file in the Oblivion\Mopy folder, choosing copy, right-clicking somewhere else, and choosing "paste shortcut". Get rid of the old one. It is looking for the Python 25 setup.

Shadowfen
Make a copy of the file Oblivion\Mopy\Extras\Bashed Patch,0.esp and paste it into Oblivion\Data. Then you should be able to regenerate your patch in Wrye Bash.
