Ok i have plenty of tuts and read through lots f different things but one question i just nee to through out there. Do you install mods differently when you get OBMM? And if so what do you do?

Im going to put up an example and mayby you can tell me the scenario for how it is done.

1. just DL a new Race mod. And its not obmm format (I do however understand how to make it obmm format)

2. its sitting on my desktop in a compressed folder

3. i have obmm and everthing i need to play mods

4. how do i install it exactly?

5. is it as simple as extract files to oblivion data folder run obmm and see if it pops up in the lists of mods?

6. or is it installed differently?

Again i have read tons of tut and had tons of help from members here but i dont know if i missed it but how is it done?

I just want to know because before i reinstalled oblivion only my CM Basic and Unoffical patch picked up in obmm.

All the other mods were not listed and some did not work due to load order i guess.

And if your up to the challange how about answering i second question.

When it comes to load orders how do i change them? Do i change it manualy in obmm?

I also have Boss and all the programs i need i just wanted to clarify what i do exactly.

Anyway thanks for the help i know i have asked for alot latly but we all gota start somwere.

Added Information if needed!

I am running Windows 7 and all my oblivion files are in program files (x86)

ATM all my Oblivion files are Vanilla no DLC no MODS. BUT i have a verry large folder full of 20+ mods in ther compressed state and all the utilities i need.

All of the utilities will be installed later tonight probly after i decided to get off of this thread lol. Thanks again for your help! I hope i have explained my questions enough.

BTW Hope the blue is ok? If not let me know

OMOD Installation for compressed archive.

1. Launch OBMM

2. Choose create OMOD (bottom bar)

3. Choose "Add archive" (OMOD creation window)

4. Choose create OMOD (bottom-right of OMOD creation window)

5. Install: double-click on the OMOD or select it and choose activate (bottom bar)

The whole point of using OBMM is to get around manual installation (extracting mods into the data folder.)

CM Partners is OMOD-Ready. Therefore, when you added it in the OMOD creation window, the information was filled out for you. Most mods are simple enough that they do not need OMOD data included. You can just give the OMOD a name, create it, and activate it. The Unofficial Oblivion Patch, on the other hand, is available in OMOD format, so you do not have to do anything other than activate it, after loading it into OBMM.

For your load order, use Wrye Bash and BOSS. You are using known mods for now, so BOSS can take care of your load order entirely.

Thank you for being patient, Sonoske.
