Calaghan
Oblivion Specialists 1.0 Download here This is a simple mod that aims to make each of your characters different to play instead of each being a jack of all trades, and hopefully makes the game more challenging. It makes your major skills more important. It increases the time that it takes to lvl up a minor skill by a significant amount forcing you to rely on your major skills and items, and it removes the ability to train at a trainer. You can still lvl up your minor skills but it takes a long time to do so. I have also removed most of the classes from the class selection menu, left are: AssassinWarriorRogueMonkThiefMageBattle Mageand custom class is available still, just wont get any benefits yet. I did this because: A these classes had the most varied sets of major skills B it allways annoyed me that when i had made a custom class i would go to name it and find it was allready taken smile.gif to be added: A new longish quest for each class apart from custom, custom classes will recieve a more generic quest. Classes, necromancer, more "EVIL" classes, others to follow, and spells/abilities on leveling, i have got this to work i just have to make the new spells for each class. eg. at lvl 5 you gain a new power/ability, at lvl 10 and so on. to get the best out of this mod you have to start a new game although it will work with a current save your minor skills just wont go up anymore or very slowly anyway. Ive come up with a rough concept that ill admit is inspired by several of my favourite films. Like i said its rough so feel free to be critical or to add anything you think might be better. Anyway, Each class has a seperate quest but they will intertwine. Warrior A famous fighter, not native to cyrodill, has travelled to the imperial city to take part in an arena tournemant. Unbeknowns to him, all of his fights have been fixed and he wins with ease. When his fight manager* tells him that its his turn to throw a fight even though hes reached the finals hiw world comes crashing down around him. *whatever a fight manager wouldve been reffered to in those times. Thief A down on his luck thief hears about a big score and is unwittingly roped into robbing the arena during the big fight and when all bets have been placed. Rogue The charming rogue is the mastermind behind the whole plan to rob the arena. He hired the thief, the other members of his team needed to get the job done and with the thiefs help, stole all the required equipment. Nobody knows who he his or where hes come from. Monk The Monk is the Warriors father and has come to watch his son fight in the arena. He has also come to visit an old friend who lives in the mountains but he wont tell his son what for. Assassin The Assassin has been hired by an unknown source to kill the Warrior, Thief, Monk etc. Each one has wronged his employer in some way or another and he wants closure. Mage A travelling trickster, the Mage has spent most of his recent life moving from town to town entertaining the masses at carnivals and other social events. He is trying to outrun his dangerous past but it will soon catch up to him. Blademage Hmmm, havnt thought of this yet. Any ideas?? Mystery Man Its a mystery...... Hope you can make sense of all that and like i said its only a rough outline for each classes quest. Any feedback is much apreciated
