XunAmarox
As it is, the endorsement timer is way too long. It doesn't take 3 hours to test 99% of the mods out there, so it'd be nice if it was lowered a great deal. Most of us forget to go back and rate after a long time has passed, and other things. The way it is now, we end up leaving not very good/accurate information with our endorsements because we've forgotten everything by the time we go to rate the file. It'd be a lot better if we could endorse when things were still fresh in our minds. 3 hours is too long... movies don't even take that long to watch, and not all of us are even around for 3 hours after we download and try something out. So, that just delays the rating even further (maybe days later), and as it is now it's just an unnecessary inconvenience imposed on us. Something like 30 minutes should be sufficient testing time for just about anything. It's also a lot more reasonable of a timer so that we could still endorse while we even remembered anything about it, and it ensures we don't just rate immediately upon opening the page or downloading (which is what I suppose the purpose is currently). Vagrant0
It's there to discourage hasty judgments made primarily from those who disagree with the mod content, or who can't get it working in the first attempt. By having it so long you allow the person to generally have a better idea if the mod should be endorsed, non-endorsed, or just forgotten.
XunAmarox
I know what the purpose is, but it's way too long.
