Need a bit of modding help

You have been given help, M48A5 has told you exactly what you need to do. I tried telling you this in your other topic, back when you still had a manageable list of mods, now it has been restated here.

No one can tell you exactly what files and patches you need. The right mods are the ones you want, and the right patches are whatever is available for those mods. You need to look at the mods you want and figure out what patches are available for them. In other works: we're not here to do your homework for you.

You need to care about mod order, especially if you want to load several large mods with overlapping features. You probably also won't get around having to create your own merged patch with FNVEdit. If that sounds like something that would be utterly impossible for you to handle, then start small and pick some mods that are guaranteed not to conflict with each other.

What's more, there's 127 files in the load order you posted, and the game has a tendency to crap out around 130 from what I hear. In my two years of modding I've never had the need to load that many mods at one time. There's nothing wrong with leaving something out for another playthrough. Wanting everything at once is a dangerous approach when modding.

If you've started from scratch, which was a good idea given the situation, then try to take it a bit slower this time. Follow M48A5's advice and only add something when you've made sure that your game is stable.

I've said it before, and I'll say it again, this time in full caps, bold, italics, and underlined, to emphasize just how important what I'm about to say is:

THE MODS I'M TRYING TO UPLOAD HAVE PATCHES THAT ARE SIMILAR TO EACH OTHER!!!

That, my friends, is the main problem, the similar patches in the mods. If someone could explain to me which of the patches I need in order to get these mods to work, I'd be grateful.

For the record, I'm trying to install Mission Mojave, NV Interiors (original and urban), Diversified Mojave Wasteland, ELECTRO-CITY, FOOK, GRA - The Right to Bear Arms, Improved Throwing, Interior Lighting Overhaul, More Perks, Project Nevada, WMX, WME, The Someguy Series, Essential Visual Enhancements, A World Of Pain, Project Brazil, and Run The Lucky 38

I took what you were saying as a statement of general frustration, as in "Ugh, all these patches are similar to each other", rather than you having the problem of trying to decide between two specific patches, as in "These two sound really similar, which one should I use?". If you had pointed us to an example of what you're talking about we could have avoided that misunderstanding.

But fair enough. Can you point us to such an example?

For example, both Mission Mojave - Ultimate Edition and FOOK - Project Nevada Convergence have patches for A World of Pain, WME, and WMX, and I don't know if I should use only one or both. You can look through the rest of the mods I've listed and see if any of the other patches may conflict.

If you use both mods along with AWOP, you need both patches. The AWOP patch on Mission Mojave makes sure that Mission Mojave plays nice with AWOP, but it has nothing to do with FOOK or Project Nevada.

Generally if you see something like "mod Y Compatibility Patch" amongst mod X's files, it is meant to make sure that mod X and mod Y works together. But if you also have mod Z and that also has compatibility issues with mod Y, then mod Z will usually provide a compatibility patch for mod Y, but that is completely unrelated to mod X.

And now a disclaimer; I don't use neither AWOP, Mission Mojave or FOOK, so what I've told you is based on my gut feeling and a quick glance over the available files.

Well... you're currently on a forum dedicated to modding Fallout: New Vegas. So there's that.

Listen, I told you that if you use both mods along with AWOP, you need both patches. That much I can tell you with 100% certainty even if I don't use those mods myself, which I only told you as a disclaimer in order to prevent specific questions about the use of them. I don't know why you insist on making this so hard. Look at each of the mods respective pages, read, study, take notes, open notepad and write stuff down if you need to. Basically, find out what's available, and which of it you need.
