What's your favorite mod/hack?

I love that armor too spets ... and you know ... I think it is the only one I have in my game right now too. Oh wait, I have that um ... wutever its called, the desire demon sales person at the Pearl - I have her stuff too. But other than that, gosh so many things are either way overpowered or not powerful enough to bother with since they often resemble something else I have or some other random reason why I don't get it, lol.

But yeah the appearance mods are another thing I just can't do without, especially the hair mod - god base hair is so tiring to look at! I really hope as the game ages more people will create hairstyles for it.

 

But omg I get so embarrassed by all the sex mods :wacko: I just can't handle them in my game lolol!!! Though I have looked at all the pictures for those mods and giggled like a 12 year old :teehee:

I'm playing DA-O for 1 month now, so i haven't done to much modding. The first one i installed was the HD Textures mod. The same with the natural body mod. I can't understand why the developers of the game don't implement the textures that way.

 

The last mods i installed was the campchest and the extra Dog Slot. I need some storage for all that stuff i wont sell. A house like in Fallout 3 would be better, but having a chest is better than nothing. The dog slot i have put in because i like to have Claw (my Dog) with me. Maybe you could say it is a 5th companion and would give an advantage, but i'm lvl 9 and try not to die to often ;)

 

The other mods are only some clothes. I'm a girl and i wont wear these chain and leather things the whole time.

Paxan it sounds like you need my favorite mod Innodil's Pocket Plane It uses the Haven chantry as its setting has four merchants and an enchanter and separate storage units for everything in your inventory. Only drawback is it doesn't work with awakenings, really sucks having to stuff three rooms full of stuff into that stupid little box.

@paxan i have a mod that might help you for your storage beats the old storage camp chest any day , in this mod you get to have your own castle and much more .........lol :biggrin: Castle and Haremthis mod is absolutely awsome by orbatron there are 3 storage inside the castle an armor rack , an weapon rack and a big old chest to store in all yer goodies oh and my favorite part theres a female cage dancer <3 jejeje :thumbsup:

Great thread.

I'm not to far into the game and don't or won't use a ton of mods but so far my fave super simple mod is "No Friendly Fire".

It's awesome not having to knock back to easy mode or plain bomb your own team mates.

 

I tried looking for the Extra dog slot mod with no luck. Does that mean my lil buddy Rollio can come along with a full party of 4?? I'd like that one if someone can post the link for me.

And ah, I have considered getting the No Friendly Fire mod, but lol I get such a kick out of how often I kill my own people when I play my mage! I am the worst about tossing a fireball right in the middle of a hard battle and knocking all my people around, then I rush to heal them as fast as I can ... usually not fast enough! :laugh: I am always looking at my stats lulzing over how much friendly fire I deal.

My favorite, and 'can't play without', mods are:

 

Madd Gift Guide - Tells you what gifts are for which companions.

 

Beyond Ferelden Base Chest - Adds a chest at Camp to store gear.

 

Extra Dog Slot - Extra dog slot, obviously. (Would be cool if there was a mod like this for other companions)

 

Skip The Fade - Skips that crappy Fade level at the Mage Tower.

 

Also, just downloaded Gay Bar of Ferelden, and I love this mod. Can't wait until it's complete and put into the Origins campaign. Right now it's a separate campaign.
