Tomlong54210
The examples are as detailed. Robert v5 Beta's instructions only seem more detailed because you have to rearrange the package. OOO does not require such rearrangement.
darlaten1
i have ooo1.3 its an application type file not an archive dose this make a difference it dose not show up as any of the three unless i extract it first
Tomlong54210
Do not install OOO 1.3. Download the OOO 1.33 Complete archive, and please just follow the instructions. It tells you which version of each file to download. You do not have to download any EXE files for this...

Fata1Moose
I have never used mods before and I'm having quite a difficult time figuring out how to even get them in the game anyway i got to the part where you extract files then you have to put it into the oblivion data folder, problem is I can't seem to find it. In a lot of guides people would right click and it would be there as 'Open Data Folder' but it is not so i can put the files to the mod there, so how do I go about accessing the mod folder? (I have Windows 7 if it matters)
darlaten1
if you installed obliviont in the default location the game folder should be in my computer local disk C:\Program Files86 Bethesda Softworks oblivion data. let me know if that helps. i dont have windows7 i have vist but i think they still use the same location

Have you followed the OOO guide? Just read that. It says to grab the 1.34b5 update. Please, read that. As for COBL. It, like OOO 1.33, is already OMOD-ready. Just download it, and add the archive to an OMOD. (I have Windows 7 if it matters) Please, make your own thread. The Data folder is in the Oblivion folder in your Steam folder. I do not use Steam either. I assume it is either under Steam\Oblivion\Data or Steam\Bethesda Softworks\Oblivion\Data.
