Those pages contain all of the instructions for running BOSS. You just need to double-click on the BAT file to run it. Get OBMM to install your mods. BOSS only organizes plugins. If you use Wrye Bash, use Bash to modify your LO, in addition to BOSS (since BOSS does not recognize all plugins.) Only use OBMM to install mods. It has some other useful features too, but you do not need those at the moment. When you need them, you can read the Oblivion Mod Manager page (under Preparing for Mods.)

You should use OBMM to install mods and Wrye Bash to manage your load order (in addition to BOSS.) I had not realized that I did not have a short section to describe this. I will add that to the updates list. Thanks for bringing that to my attention. In order to learn how to use them, see their respective pages under Preparing for Mods. You do not need to know that until you reach the Downloading Mods step though, so you can continue installing and configuring utilities, if that is what you are doing.

can you show me what the first line in the masterlist should look like and an example of what i should change it to i haven't done this kind of tampering yet

Do not mess with that file unless you need to. Leave it alone for now. You can tell what it should look like by opening it. The layout is very straightforward. You do not need to be a coder or anything. It is basically a large list of plugins with special comments here and there. Where are you at with your setup?

Do you have Microsoft Word? You do not know where the Data folder is? Have you not used mods before?

Intro to Modified Oblivion - http://sites.google.com/site/oblivionpoinfo/intro <-- Did you understand any of this? The Data folder is located in Oblivion's installation folder (Oblivion).

Making a shortcut to BOMM is not a special process. Make a shortcut to BOMM however you usually go about doing that. Wrye Bash is a special case, as far as the shortcut is concerned.

my Microsoft Word? is in read only because the cd key limet has ben reached i told you it mite be a dumb question is that going to be a problem

You need MS Word, a real working version, in order to use BOMM. You cannot modify read-only files. That is the point of "read-only". BOMM is not that important in the scheme of things. Keep going.
