FO3Edit Merging and your merges

Hey everyone, sorry for being a total noob but I just need some confirmation/example as to how a merged patch would display in FOMM. Basically, i'd like to ask if any of you guys who have done a merge patch have successfully included all your mods in said patch without any hiccups or files missing.

Basically, I've followed the FO3Edit guide to merging and merged all my files and saved it. Even waited 10 minutes after it was done to make sure it wasn't still processing. I shoot it up in FOMM and only see a handful of my mods compiled in the merge pack instead of all of them which i loaded up in the first place. Some of the mods in the pack are actually later down in the load list as well; is this normal?

If there is any alternative in creating a merge patch, i am all ears. I'm just using the standard FOOK2+FWE+MMM deal with the FOIPs as well. Followed the load order guides all around; used BOSS too.

Yes, shame on me for posting my first time in a troubleshooting forum :| Not much of a forum goer person.

Yes, I've tried to google and search the forums for a related answer.

CAPS LOCK FOR CRUISE CONTROL

Edit -

To be specific...my merge list displays this in FOMM

Fallout3.esm

Project Beauty.esm

HairPack.esm

Hairday.esm

CALIBR.esm

FOOK2 - Main.esm

FO3 Wanderers Edition - Main File.esm

Mart's Mutant Mod.esm

Anchorage.esm

ThePitt.esm

BrokenSteel.esm

PointLookout.esm

Zeta.esm

FOOK2 - [DIK] DLC Improvement Kit.esm

EnhancedChildren.esm

RH_IRONSIGHTS.esm

USMC Companions.esm

Shojo Race.esm

Animy_prostitution.esm

eyes_hairpack_en.esp

FO3 Wanderers Edition - DLC Anchorage.esp

FO3 Wanderers Edition - DLC Broken Steel.esp

merc.esp

Tenpenny Suite.esp

Shojo NPC.esp

Tactical Weapons by gRs Frederyck.esp

But I have significantly more mods. FO3Edit says it has merged it after its done but FOMM says otherwise. Is this okay?

It is normal that the Merged Patch doesn't include mods that it doesn't use in the overrides as masters.

When you load FO3Edit up, it should read "[00:57] Background Loader: finished" or similar after it is done loading the files. If it does tell you something else, you need to arrange your load order differently, as some masters are not loaded before the files that need them, like they should be.

Are you using the FOOK2 1.0 RC version? There is no FOIP for FOOK2 1.1 Open Beta yet, so it doesn't work with FWE at all at this time. There is an unofficial user-made Compatibility Patch for MMM though for 1.1 Open Beta, which you can find from the FOOKUnity forums (from where you can also get more help when using FOOK).

God thank you for your post. I just needed a simple answer to whether merges that don't show everything to be normal. Bless your soul, lol.

Yes, it says it's finished when it merges so i guess I am okay now

I am using fook2 1.0 RC as I saw FOIP only supported this version. Well, you pretty much answered my question so thank you. I was afraid no one can give me an answer to this.
