General mod problem. Any feasibility to recover the savegames?

Hi folks,

 

this is my first post as you can see. I never played that game before or even realized the release of it. A friend recommended it to me, so I lent it from him. My first impression was just like *powww what a damn amazing game*. I asked him about some modifications and he gave me a advice to visit this site.

 

So here I am. :D

 

Back to topic.

As you have seen, I have some trouble with the game and the mods I've installed.

I'm not sure which mode it is. I tried to uninstall all of them and made a new savegame. Only one was left (Project D aka. FEM) that could not be uninstalled. I don't know why. So I reinstalled all of them and just played the game.

 

I had just some small problems like the face of the women were purple sometimes.

Now I reached the citadel, they let me in for the first time, but some Power Armors are invisible. I can see only the head of the people.The body of the daughter of Lyons is invisible, too.

 

Now here's the question. Is it possible to cleanup the savegames ? I really do not want to start again. 30+ hours playtime. Not nice :(

From your symptoms, it doesn't sound like your savegame, but missing textures (purple face), and missing meshes - invisible bodies. First, toggle invalidation in FOMM - off, then ON. If that doesn't do it, then you will have to go through your mods and re-copy the meshes and textures from them to your fallout data folder. It's caused by a esp or esm (Mod) that is referencing a texture or a mesh that isn't there.

thanks for your assistance. Bodies are visible again. But I still can't see the girls naked. Normally I should be able to loot the underwear. But it doesn't work. Maybe you have an idea how to undress them ? ;)
