this is the readme file for my first mod that im about to release

 

Wizard Elemental Pack 1.0

 

What this mod does:

It adds a chest to the upstairs of the Arcane University Mystical Archives that contains 4 new items.

 

Item Description:

This pack contains wizard and battlemage gear based on the 4 elements - earth, air, fire and water. The items are;

 

a sheild called Earthen Barrier, enchanted with sheild and various resists

a torch called Orb of Elemental Air (still looking for a way to place a spell effect on this)

a staff called Solarise that shoots fireballs

a mace called Permafrost, enchanted with frost damage on strike

 

About this mod

This is my first ever mod that i have released so its bound to be lacking in some aspects. Overall i'm happy with it and hope others

like it too.

Meshes done in BLender 2.41. Textures done with Photoshop 6. Final nif files put together with nifscope.

Unfortunatlely my scripting isnt up to making quests for these items so for the meantime a chest is the best option.

 

Future Plans

I would like to put a spell effect (likely detect life) on the torch if its possible to do. Need to learn some scripting i think.

Usage in other mods is permitted if you get in touch with me first and let me know what kind of mod it is etc.

Credits

All items are made from my original meshes and textures except for;

 

The fire particle effect on the staff. This is by Bethesda and ships with the game.

The transparent sphere and particles inside it that are part of the torch. These are by Bethesda and ship with the game.

I have made a zip file ready to upload.

 

I was hoping i could get someone to test my zip file and make sure it all works before i upload it. Was thinking someone could PM me their email address and i could email the zip to them to test out for me. Anyone interested in doing this for me?
