Oblivion FPS problems. How do i optimize/ fix it? or is my computer even capapble to run them>? (this is my first post and so idk if this is te right place)

Ok, so i am running alot of Oblivion mods and would like to know how to fix it. Some mods are, Better cities, QTPIII, Unique landscapes, lost spires, and some other ones. so how do i optimize it and fix it? but i still want some good graphics :/ but if it means no lag in the outside world, then i am okay with it... as long as it is deecent. In the cities or caves it is fine. so mainly just The outdoor cells have lag.and If it is too much for my computer, how can i uninstall Qarls textures with out reinstalling Oblvion. ( I am running a version from Direct2Drive.com

OBSE does not support D2D versions of the game, so you cannot use any mods that require OBSE. Your specs are otherwise fine for running mods. Verify that none of those mods require it.

 

Popular Outdated Mods - http://sites.google.com/site/oblivionpoinfo/stabilization/outdatedmods <-- Remove or trade these (i.e., Natural Vegetation, Natural Weather...)

 

Rerun BOSS EVERY TIME you change your load order. Are you using OBMM? That would make uninstalling so much simpler... As for optimization, check the second link in my sig. Toward the bottom of the opening post, there is a section "Optimization & Stabilization Links." Check out all of those (maybe not Albertine's guide, but that is up to you) but make sure you do not grab any OBSE-dependent mods or OBSE plugins (i.e., Streamline, Fast Exit, etc.)
