Thandal
He dumps you even if your human doesn't he, after all you can't give him children because of the taint noble or not? Au contraire! If you work things right, (decision-wise, along the way) you can rule beside (or is that in front of?) him as Queen. But only as long as you're a Human Noble Female. (Well, I believe that with "Equal Love", you can be Queen even if you're a Human Noble Male, but haven't tried that myself... :D )

Personally I think it would have been nice, if it was set up so that as a human noble and you don't choose to rule beside him he actually proposes to you or asks you to rule besides him, put it which ever way suites. The romance angles were very nice and will I think spoil a lot of people for future RPGs that don't have them, but they were not well thought out, after the first night spent together it is always your character that has to kiss or ask him to go to sleep making you seem all needy and desperate, a trigger for random kisses or lets go to sleep from your romance partner would have been a well thought out IMO and a nice hug scene, I often feel like I could do with a big hug, that would be nice. Thandal
... like when I get sick of fighting I take Alistair off for a walk and look at the view, it's nice down by the water in the Dalish camp and the battlements up at Wardens Peak, quiet and peaceful, they should put a benches there so we can sit down and admire the view or pack a tartan blanket to sit on, now there's an idea for an impossible mod  Not impossible, I think. Look what Luchaire did with BCS! Using the animations already coded and putting them together in different combinations resulted in some fairly accurate representations of behaviors the developers didn't include (can't say "didn't consider" ;D .) So why not a picnic? OK, a wordless picnic, but still... BTW: My own favorite overlooks are from various points at Ostagar. Both during the prelude and during RtO. Thought it was an especially nice touch to have a change of seasons between the two. And in Haven the views from both the lakeside and the courtyard of the Chantry are also nice. Hmmmm... thinking about the views from almost anywhere "outdoors" makes me wonder if the lack of them is one of the reasons I dislike the Fade so much? And I sure get tired of the tunnels in the Deep Roads! But maybe that's exactly the effect the devs wanted? "Make the player really, REALLY sick of narrow rock corridors where they can't see more than a few steps ahead, then turn a corner to open onto an impossibly grand vista of a ruined city!" But we're waaaaaay off-topic. I believe I'll start a new Thread: "What's your favorite view?"

I believe I'll start a new Thread: "What's your favorite view?" I looked for your topic of favourite views but didn't see one, so I'll carry on here for now  I think almost everywhere outdoors has fantastic scenery, I am especially drawn to water and snow, but the views you mentioned are spectacular when I arrive in Ostagar I can't help but go out on to those ? to admire the mountains and I zoom out and over so I can see down as well, the BForest is really nice once you clean out the wolves, bears and werewolves. The KWilds doesn't have a lot to offer by way of views  Flemeths place is quite nice considering it's in the wilds, I did say in a thread about camps that it's a pity the camp doesn't reflect the part of the map you are camping in, it always looks the same and it's always night time, like you can't have a day off  Someone asked for a hug mod, but no one seems to have taken up the idea it's just faded away down the list. I like the fade, I think it's because I like the shape shifting and I've done it so many times now I don't have to stop and use the maps just go through like a dose of salts and get all the points. I find the fade thing at the start of the mage character very boring and would gladly skip that. Mind you everywhere you go there is that mangy dog I'm sure that's either Flemeth or Morrigan spying :woot:
Thandal
I looked for your topic of favourite views but didn't see one, so I'll carry on here for now :laugh:Took me a while to figure out a) which saves were in the locations I wanted to show so I could take the screenshots, then b) the best angles, etc., c) how to upload an image (even after having received instructions), d) how to compress the files to fit under the 250KB limit, and finally, e) realize that that limit was TOTAL for the post, so in the end only one image made the final cut! ;D But the topic is now here under "Spoilers". ell46
I just posted and you did a really nice screen shot, I've stood down there and relaxed a couple of times. Don't know if this will help in the future. I use a freebie called Irfanview and an add-on to resize any screen shots or files for the web it's a no brainer. Open the JPEG choose Save for the Web from the File menu and there you can type in the size of the file in Kbs, resave and it's ready to upload. I tried a couple of other freebies, but they were a bit restrictive it was either this or that and no inbetween.
