What are people's opinions on Morrigan?

This means two things:

a) Morrigan is coming back to please the bros (AKA the boobie lovers)

OR

b) Morrigan is going to be mentioned in DA2 but her and warden's aspect of the story is not over

I just going to leave this aspect to you guys. I just hope it is option b.

May the Softie remind the Grand Cleric that, as far as our Dear Founder was concerned, boobies are a very important... asset? :P

But more On-Topic, I'm fully prepared for/expecting a "Morrigan-centered DLC" to DA2.

The Softie's wish is accepted... I just don't want to see a perfectly good character to be reduced to walking cleavage to please them. Sure there is nothing wrong women showing their curves but the real reason that I love Morrigan so much as a character is that there is so mysterious at times. I would like to see my warden to resolve that portion of her story and maybe it could be a bittersweet ending but I just don't like it to be resolved in two hours. To me, the relationship is deeper and more complex with many issues and two hours can't really resolve it. Plus wouldn't you want your warden to find Morrigan not Commander Shepard I mean Hawke? If she becomes a LI (highly unlikely but still) in DA2, I will flip as it will cheapen her image dramatically and I'll hate BW for their action.

I would account it far too little if even the entire two hours were devoted exclusively to allowing my Warden to encounter/pursue, rescue/battle, and convince/be convinced by Morrigan that it can't/must end (again), while providing plenty of insight to her pre-/post- DA:O life.

In other words, BKE, you're right. She's my favorite character as well, (despite my heartfelt conversion to Lelianaism) and worth(y of) as much time and effort by the writers as I'm willing to put into unravelling/understanding their creation. She's easily the most realistic/believable one in that she is made up of conflicting, and not just competing, desires.

What everyone else wants can be accomplished/granted through choices the Warden makes. Their happiness, or lack of it, is what we decide it will be . (Well, except for Shayle's "return to squishiness", but even then it appears she is content with just having the opportuntity to search for a way.) But not so for Morrigan. No choice we make can resolve things for, or with her. What she truly wants, it seems even she isn't sure. And some of us ache with wanting to help her discover it, and through doing so, her.

Hmmmm... Guess I've expressed a pretty strong opinion, haven't I?

Yeah a two hour DLC would be pointless. If it was an expansion or another full game, then there is nothing really to worry as it wont be exclusively around you finding Morrigan (most stupidest idea in existence) but it could be that the DR (choices should have real consequences not just a little line here or there) would play an integral part in the supposed war against the Chantry, Morrigan and Flemeth would be involved to further their own agendas and then the warden would be great to return if it was something like that.

If Hawke was to make an appearance to deal with that situation, then it would better placed as a companion rather than the main character. I don't want a happy ending as it would be naive and too cliche but it would be great if it was a bittersweet moment, like they would have to make a choice that could change their lives forever or they would have to say their goodbyes as one of them would go.

Up until tonight I used to say I would always give her the good bye lay. I'm really having second thoughts about that now. I was procrastinating tonight, knowing I couldn't run though the deep roads and finish tonight and was just hanging out on the proving grounds bridge, running in and out with pairs for the banter. (Should have saved Wynne and Zev for last as it was the best.)

Anyway, after running all the other pairs (Wynne and Zev are the best IMO) I got to Wynne and Morrigan - Meeeeeeeeoww! Yeah, bitter yet still at least slightly amusing. I should have left it at that but I figured just one more set and went Shale-Morrigan. I'm not going to ruin the plot for anyone who hasn't run their banter to exhaustion but if you haven't, and you haven't made up your mind on this discussion, you should do so before you do.

My characters may need an overdose of viagra before that next dark ritual :pinch:

Question: Does everyone "do" Morrigan once she says those infamous lines (Those lines make me laugh everytime) or do you wait until later?

Edit: I'm really curious, that's all.

hahaha yeah, thats gotta be one of the most obvious come-ons I've ever seen. Tho I admit, I find that seeing her pretending to be all shy and nervous to be very comical, and then the lines themselves just make me crack up.

I havent had a character yet, that didnt play the romance with her, so usually yes, I do accept her first invitation. Mostly not to take the big approval drop if I refuse. I have played through a few refusals, and seeing her rejection complex is rather comical as well!

"Playing hard to get is your game, after all" HAHAHA

I usually take her first invitations because of that damned number system as well DWolf (actually when I first heard that line I was like WTF? what about playing hard to get?). I have un-installed Origins but I would love to see the more softer moment that people talked about when you do her personal quest and she asks about the relationship.

Morrigan hmm..... To me I would have to side with those whom say is evil, this why I love her she can do every thing that warden can not or would be consider mortally wrong by the others. With this fact in mind you play the game as evil as you want which, With my game play style I do in virtual world I would be the type person that if you where on fire, I would try to put you out by throwing more gasoline on you and would laugh my ass off as you were burn to a crisp. Then again that's just me so still my out look on this subject, she is necessary evil. Now as far for diving in to her head finding out what make her tick I could careless I just love being evil with making her doing bad things it so mush fun. lol :P
