Voices?

I apologise in advance if this has already been answered.

I wander if there is a utility that makes voices for Oblivion.

Similar to that in the "VOILA" mod.

It could be a voice changer,

a text to speech program,

whatever.

I just want to know if there is any program out there that will do this.

Thanks.

Have you ever heard any of those people who talk trough a computer? If you haven't, think of emotionless, monotonic voices, and that's the best you're going to get. If you have the money it requires (I'm guessing around 10.000, maybe more). Then comes the hard part: you will have to tweak the software so that it can be used on oblivion. I'm not even gonna guess how much time and money (You'll have to buy programming software) that will take. And whie tweakign to software, you'll most probably break the CS, the voice software, or simply your whole computer. So I don't think this is possible sorry ;/

It has to be possible. I have seen it in mods such as VOILA - Voices of Imperial Legion Algamated. And I don't think that dialog was in the vanilla game. Unless they had REALLY good voice actor mimics, they made the voices seem to be spoken by the real voice actors.

Not sure what you're talking about with voila and such...

But what I did in the past (note; for SNES, thus probably lower quality) is use some kind of standard computer voice (voice flux pro springs to mind), which is available online, and then just keep editing and tweeking the sound file. This does, however, take not only atleast some soundfil-skill so to speak, but also alot of hands-on extra work...

Try searching online for free sound editing programs. I would be surprised if there wasn't something, since there's a free 3D Modeling software that is also a game engine (Blender), and free image editing software (Gimp).

I purchased a microphone for Skype from Tiger Direct for only $12 after shipping.
