Two bad mods (for me, at least)

Hello all! I'm new to this site and forums, and so far I wanted to say its an excellent site, and has provided me with some really great mods. I have run across a small problem, however. I have to mod files that for some reason cause Oblivion to crash when I try to exit the sewers onto the world map after the tutorial. These two files are the FCOM_Convergence.esp (not .esm), and Mart's Monster Mod-Diverse Water Life.esp. I'm not really sure why these two crash the game. They crash it when combined, and they crash it individually. The others dozens of mod files work fine and the game runs without problems, which is surprising, since I was under the impression that the FCOM_Convergence file was important. Anyone have any idea why these two don't work? I'm not really concerned, just curious.

I get the feeling that you did not install FCOM properly. There is also an update available for that MMM plugin, as the old version had a serious bug. The crashing as you exit problem may be due to the BSAs not being named properly.

 

If your MMM BSA is named simply "MMM.bsa" rename it to "FCOM_Convergence_Mart's Monster Mod.bsa" and rename the FraNewItems BSA to "FCOM_Convergence_FraNewItems.bsa"
