jack254 Posted May 20, 2010 Share Posted May 20, 2010 when i mean this, i mean what guilds can you join without cheesing everyone of? i dont mind screwing the unjoinable faction that hates you and pretty much every faction has an enemy anyway but... what great house doesn't piss everyone of? what guilds offer good rewards compared to trouble? Tchos Posted May 20, 2010 Share Posted May 20, 2010 Each house has its own specialties. If you're a rogue-type, Hlaalu has the most rogue-like benefits. If you're a mage, you want Telvanni. If you're a fighter, try Redoran. Just raise your personality attributes and skill at persuasion, and everyone will like you no matter which house you choose. I've got characters simultaneously in the Thieves' Guild, Fighters' Guild, Mages' Guild, Morag Tong, and House Telvanni with no negative consequences. It's not technically possible to join more than one Great House. The only thing with the others is that you want to wait until after you've got Sottilde's code book in the Fighter's Guild before you join the Thieves, otherwise it breaks that quest. EDIT: I forgot to say. The only thing that carries serious penalties to people interacting with you is if you become a vampire or werewolf in the unmodded game (and with most mods, honestly). Vampires can use the Masque of Clavicus Vile to pass for human, if you can find and get hold of it.
