Adras
I had become the arch-mage of the Mages Guild (Traven's place) and I decided to move into his chambers. Well I put my stuff in the chest at the end of his bed (NOT in the enchanted chest) and I come back later to find out that ITS ALL GONE! Most of my stuff was in there! The Gray Cowel of Nocturnal! Everything! Is there some other chest or something that it goes to or what? Or did I just loose it all? This makes me very frustrated.
Malchik
Surely in these circumstances it would not be cheating to add them back via the console? I had something similar happen leaving it overnight in a fighters guild chest but in my case there was nothing particularly important. I lost money effectively. VladimIr V Y
Most chests and loot are renewn every 72 game hours. You own ones in the guilds, but they still fall under this rule. I think, the only safe place to store loot - is chests and other containers in houses you own. They made non-renewable. Or, at least, they were intended to be such. Servis
God, that must suck.I guess this is why everyone insists on saving often in different files.Ive also noticed that if you just throw an item off a shelf, it will spawn back, pushing off anything you might have placed in it's stead. Try cheating your stuff back, if not. Oh well :P
SoulBlazer_87
Maybe you put them in travens special chest!!! In that case you might have lost them because of the chests magic. Only suggestion: same as Servis: cheat them back. I happen to have an excel file with every items code to cheat so if you want it pm me your email and I 'll see want I 'll do.
