archiusPendragon
HOBD is a mod I'm currently working on that will heavily alter food in Fallout: New Vegas. Rather than just eating food as one would normally, you require managing what foods you've eaten - eating any food more than 3 times out of the last 10 makes it worthless. However, it isn't released yet, as I'm running into some small (quite large, actually) issues:I have no idea how to dynamically set the values for saturation on ingestables, and there seems to be no documentation on really interacting with ingestables. The values look fixed-on-creation, which may require me to do some work arounds (meaning I'd need to check that particular ingestable's starvation/saturation/hunger-refil and just add/subtract it from your current total). I'm using NVSE for arrays (oh, does this make it easier), so I'm wondering if there are ways to pull the ingestables starvation value?I already have logic setup that (in theory) should allot me to know what foods the player has eaten within the last ten.Link To the Script~!If anyone has any support, it'd be greatly appreciated. I am new to modding, but I've been fiddling around with Java/C/C++ for a while ( about 4 years or so). Figured I'd work on something for Fallout: New Vegas and do something rather (or, what I thought would be) simple. Also, I'm considering making the amount 1/3'd of a configurable 'last eaten' quantity. Any aid on any fronts would be much appreciated!
