Crashing Issue with Unnecessary Violence III

So I been having crashing issues with the mod Unnecessary Violence III. The main offenders is trying to switch the grip position of a weapon. If I switch a single hand weapon's grip to two hand, then back to one hand, the game crashes. Similarly, if I switch a sword from the right hand to the left, it also crashes. Those are the only two things I've encountered so far, and knowing my luck I'll find so mmuch more that will cause the game to crash. I've got OBSE and NifSE installed, I've got no custom skeletons or animation replacers installed, so my back's against a wall right now.

To reiterate, I do have one skeleton mod, but that's Coronerra's Maximum Skeleton mod, which is a necessity for this mod. I'd also like to point out that I do have the proper Oblivion patch, NifSE is in OBSE's plugin folder. I've also noticed there's a lack of an .ini file for this mod. Either that or I'm just not finding it.

I saw this in the mod's comment section:

Crashes whenever I try to switch a weapon to my left hand. So that's frustrating, and I haven't figured out why it's doing that. Will edit if I find a solution.

-EDIT-

I did a fresh install of Oblivion, and installed this first. I then systematically added each of my mods back into the game one at a time, and now that they've all been added again I can't replicate the crash. Bloody typical. At least it's fixed, I guess.

However, I'm still having an issue. When I change a 2H weapon to 1H grip in the right hand, the weapon is functional, but looks totally stupid because the weapon doesn't actually appear in my hand and stays on my back instead. Looks just fine in left hand grip. No idea what's going on there.

Who knows, that might do the trick for you too but before that, were you using an earlier version of UV? If yes,did you make a clean installation of the newest version? (uninstall the old, load the game, save, exit and then install the new version)

Some mods do require a clean installation.

UV and DR are difficult to deal with because they're a bit complex and,i guess, heavy script-wise.

Sadly, fresh install did not do the trick. I haven't used Deadly Reflexes, wanted to but it seemed like there were too many issues with some of the mods required to run it, or any of the older versions of UV.
