Different Echanting Mod

What i want is not that you can enchant anywhere or something. The first feature im looking for is for example: You can enchant in every mages' guild hall, but the prices are doubled, and you need to have the reccomendation(i cant spell... lol) from that specific one. The second feature is that when u raise in rank the enchanting altars in the univirsity's(not the mages' guild halls) prices are reduced to about 3-5%. I would be happy if i could get any of these two features.

Depending on how urgently you want a mod like this to pop up I can meet you half way...

Placing an enchanting/spellmaking altar in the mages guild halls, which will only activate if you have completed the hall's recomendation is easy to implement.

As for prices though, it's a tad trickier. If you want a mod which won't have an OBSE dependance, it's going to be impossible to play with the prices. With an OBSE dependance, I might beable to implement something like what you're after, but It would probably be a refund/deduction after the enchantment is made, and the enchanting screen would show the unaltered price. There's a chance I could implement exactly what you're after, but I'm not sure of the best way to do it at the moment, so it would depend on the time i've got to play around with it. (Which isn't a whole heap at the moment)

I'll create a mod which adds an enchanting altar to every mages guild hall, which will only operate after the appropriate recomendation has been obtained (although it will be activate-able before). It won't alter the prices though. If I have time later, i'll try and get an improved version working.

Thats sound really great! I dont have OBSE yet(i haven't been in need of it)

, but i dont mind getting it. also, i've seen other scripts kinda like this which makes the enchanting cheaper -- would it be possible/legal to take some bits from those scripts and use them in the mod?

Yeah, I only just started using OBSE myself hence my inexperience modding with it. If you post links to any mod which changes the spell costs for enchanting, I'll see If I can pull anything out. I've never tried to change those costs in mods for myself, so any info is useful.

If I need to use part of someone else's work (or their ideas)... credit where credit is due, so if you can get permission for me to use their work, it will make it a lot easier for me. Getting permission is only really appropriate for a public release containing their work, so don't worry about permissions unless I use something from their mods. It may just be a simple thing i'm overlooking.

EDIT: http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=31834

Here is the finished non-price-changing version. I'll upload any future versions to that location
