install to file?

Recommended Posts

All you really need to do is open up a windows explorer window, and then browse to your documents folder. In there, go to bioware/dragon age/packages/core.

Once you've browsed to the Core folder, either click on file, then choose new, folder and name it "override" (without quotes)

OR

right click on an empty part of the window, choose new then folder, and name it override.

I will also mention that override folder is NOT capitalized. It doesnt make a HUGE difference, but some of these installers may be caps sensitive in their install paths.

Also, for installing mods that are in .dazip or .zip form, I'd recommend damodder or damodmanager. Damodder is more new-user friendly.

No problem!

Yeah, by default, the game itself doesnt create the override folder. It's not until you install the toolset that the folder is created for you. Or some of the mod installers that I posted prior, will add them when you install a mod through them.

But it's easy enough to fix
