Nnimrod
I was under the impression that these were completely compatible, the BAIN wizards make it sound like they are, but I can't get them to work together without crashing. What's the best way to paste my load order here? I'll put more details tomorrow, just wanted to make this thread before I go to bed to collect any obvious responses first. Quite sure I installed/invalidated/BOSS'd correctly, as well as re-running Tes4LODGen and rebuilding BASHed patch.
Maskar
It's extremely unlikely you can get these to work together, as they're doing exactly the same thing (change how cities look) in different ways.
Nnimrod
I'll try uninstalling OCR tonight. Better Cities is by far the better mod I think. If it has to be one or the other. The first question in the BAIN wizard for Better Cities is "Do you plan to use Arthmoor's mod Open Cities Reborn with Better Cities?" yes - This will install the Open Cities Reborn compatible version of Better Citiesno - This will install Better Cities with it's normal options. I don't think I'm crazy for thinking that they can be compatible. Edited August 30, 2014 by Nnimrod
Nnimrod
Sooo, I installed B&M via the .exe that they gave me, rather than with OBMM or Wrye Bash, and now I need to uninstall it, as I think having it installed, and Better Cities at the same time, may be something to do with my crashing whenever trying to go to Bravil. Should also have mentioned that I'm using Unique Landscapes, which provides compatibility patches for everything BC or OCR related. So how do I uninstall B&M, since I used an .exe to install it, but there's no .exe uninstall program? It's not going to be as simple as deactivating the B&M.esp is it? Maskar
The documentation says: "This ESP is especially designed to work with Open Cities Reborn, adding our buildings and NPCs into the redesigned cities from Open Cities Reborn. This is a replacer ESP for the rest of the Better Cities ESPs.This does not include our integrated Blood & Mud content – you will still need to install Blood & Mud separately along with Arthmoor’s compatibility patch." So yeah, there's an esp to make them work together, but you'll get OCR's redesigned cities, with some additional content.

That's a real shame, because I really want the variety it brings in mobs, and some of the other stuff.
