fap6000
The only trick I know of is to right click the shape in nifscope, batch, copy branch, (something like that) Then go open a vanilla mesh an paste it in. So take the kitchen knife for example, it's already placed in the right spot in the mesh, once I then batch/paste branch my shape in, now there are two shapes an you see that the one you made is off by an amount, this also works in reverce. Okay so we know that your new weapon is off. What I would do is open the mesh with nifscope, then paste in a vanilla kitchen knife. Move your weapon around left right up down and even the angle. (right click the shape, transform, then edit) Move your weapon around until it matches the vanilla one closely, however, this is just practice, you don't save it. It's just to figure out how to move it. Once you know where to move it, you just open up the mesh again, so there are two nifscope mesh windows open, one is the dirty messed up one you just practiced on, an the other is the freshly opened mesh that's clean. Since you know how much to move it, just mirror the same process you just did, an then save it in the clean one. Besides all that, pretty much any grip is adjusted inside the mesh itself, from sort of guessing where it needs to be, then guessing, then check it in-game. Then edit an test your REACH setting in the geck, to set how close the PC is in VATS attacks with the weapon, so it doesn't look stupid from using an inverted weapon. kruddpm
ok thanks for the reply. i think weapons in nifskope have to be right in the centre of the axis dont they? anyway i just had a play around following your advice and ill see how it goes
